Dr. Terry Blankenship began his Directorship of the Foundation on January 1, 2009, however, he began working for the Foundation as a Biologist in 1990. Terry earned his B.S. (1977) and M.Sc. (1979) degrees from Texas A&M University in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences. He completed his Ph.D. (2000) in Wildlife Science through a joint program between Texas A&M-College Station and Texas A&M-Kingsville. His research focus is on predator-prey relations and bobcat ecology in Texas. Terry has served as president of The Texas Chapter of The Wildlife Society.
