Much of the research conducted on the Welder Wildlife Refuge is accomplished by graduate students and these projects are usually completed in 2-4 years. There is also ongoing and long-term research conducted by Foundation directors and staff. These longer-term projects focus on habitat management techniques and research on individual species and wildlife communities.
