Assistant Director
Dr. Selma Glasscock became Assistant Director of the Welder Wildlife Foundation in 1999. She began working for the Foundation as Conservation Educator in 1993. Her degrees include a B.S. (1975) in Biology and Mathematics from Sul Ross State University, an M.Sc. (1989) in Biology from Angelo State University, and a Ph.D. (2001) in Wildlife Science through a joint program between Texas A&M-College Station and Texas A&M-Kingsville. Her research interests focus on wildlife habitat management, systems ecology, and conservation education. She has served as president of the Texas Chapter of the Wildlife Society, the Texas Outdoor Education Association, and the Southwest Section of The Wildlife Society.
