Dr. Terry Blankenship

Terry Blankenship became Director of the Welder Wildlife Foundation January 1, 2009. He began working for the Foundation as Biologist in 1990. Terry earned his B.S. (1977) and M.Sc. (1979) degrees from Texas A&M University in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences. He completed his Ph.D. (2000) in Wildlife Science through a joint program between Texas A&M-College Station and Texas A&M-Kingsville. His research focus is on predator-prey relations and bobcat ecology in Texas. Terry has served as president of The Texas Chapter of The Wildlife Society. Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Selma Glasscock

Selma Glasscock became Assistant Director of the Welder Wildlife Foundation in 1999. She began working for the Foundation as Conservation Educator in 1993. Her degrees include a B.S. (1975) in Biology and Mathematics from Sul Ross State University, a M.Sc. (1989) in Biology from Angelo State University, and a Ph.D. (2001) in Wildlife Science through a joint program between Texas A&M-College Station and Texas A&M-Kingsville. Her research interests focus on wildlife habitat management, systems ecology and conservation education. She has served as president of the Texas Chapter of the Wildlife Society and the Texas Outdoor Education Association, and is currently president-elect of the Southwest Section of The Wildlife Society.  Curriculum Vitae

D. Lynn Drawe is a native of south Texas, having been born in the lower Rio Grande Valley and raised on ranches across the region. He obtained his Ph.D. at Utah State University, and he took his first professional position as assistant professor of range and wildlife management at Texas A&I University in 1970. More...
